If you are renovating your bathroom or building a new one, here’s everything you need to know about Wall Mixers.

What Is a Wall Mixer?

A wall mixer is a single unit of plumbing fixture that is mounted on a bathroom wall. It is designed to mixer hot and cold water to give you water at your desired temperature. The faucet has separate knob/lever/handle to control the hot and cold water at the same time. As the name suggests, it is mounted on the wall, unlike a table-mounted or deck-mounted mixer. Wall Mixers are easy to install according to user desired height and easy to maintain. In RSM, wall mixers are available in different designs

Different variants of Wall Mixers

Wall Mixer Non-Telephonic

This is the classic. It mixes hot and cold water and sends it to one outlet, with no provision for a hand shower. That keeps the design clean and the wall layout uncluttered. It suits compact bathrooms, guest bathrooms and projects where simplicity is the goal.

Wall Mixer Telephonic

The name comes from the telephone-style hand shower, the handheld shower on a flexible hose that you can lift, aim and hang back on its holder or crutch. A telephonic wall mixer gives you a provision to attach one, and the shower is controlled from the central lever.

Think of the everyday jobs it makes easier:

• rinsing children and elders comfortably

• washing the floor and wall tiles

• reaching exactly where the water is needed

Wall Mixer L Bend

The L Bend wall mixer or Wall Mixer 2-in-1 is designed for an overhead shower. It has a provision to attach the shower, which is controlled from the central lever. The L-shaped bend carries water up and out so the outlet sits at a comfortable height. Designers often like it for its clean, geometric line, especially when the shower head is mounted higher on the wall. Featured product:
